This is a really great piece and, as someone who sees a lot of dark potential futures, I'm very appreciative. The timing is kind of uncanny. I was just reading a book on how intensifying our ability to face suffering like this is catalytic for emptiness realization. But your reference to the window of tolerance is an important reminder of the need for self compassion.
